RESPONSIBILITIES, REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS Responsibilities: Remain available during assigned on-call hours to respond to last-minute child care requests and back up to assigned nannies. Provide engaging, safe, and nurturing care to children of various ages, from infants to pre-teens. Adapt quickly to different household environments and routines. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about the care provided and any relevant updates during the service period. Maintain a professional demeanor and respect family privacy. Follow all company guidelines and standards for quality care. Job Details: Start and end times vary, typical 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday, Weekend work is available by choice as a Substitute Nanny Must be willing to travel up to 75 minutes. May have travel time over 45 minutes paid. (New York is 90 minutes with over 1 hour travel paid travel time) Requirements: Proven experience as a nanny, child care provider, or in a similar role. Checkable references supporting experience Flexible schedule with the ability to work on-call, including evenings, weekends, and potentially holidays. Reliable transportation to reach various job locations in the area promptly. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage children in age-appropriate activities. First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain. Must pass a comprehensive background check. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent - further education in early childhood education or related field is a plus. Strong understanding of child development stages. Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
