A busy Upper East Side family is looking for a weekend nanny/housekeeper to join their team! The position is about a 50:50 split of nanny and housekeeping duties. Shifts will be Friday 8am-7 p.m. (stay overnight in the summer months, Fridays they would live out during the school year), and Saturday 8am-Monday 6pm, live in. They're happy to offer more days such as a Wednesday-Monday schedule, however, in that case, during the weekdays, they would be in charge of more housekeeping duties. Some standard duties will include maintaining the cleanliness of the home and basic cooking. They have four girls aged 5 years, 4 years (twins), and 1. 5. Parents will be around along with their other nannies as they have 2 nannies present every day except for Sunday, so caring for all children at once is extremely rare. Everyone works together as a childcare team in the home, so being a team player and versatile is a must. They are looking for someone active, energetic, experienced, and comfortable handling multiple children as needed. Driving, traveling, and swimming are a plus but not required. The ideal candidate is someone who is confident and can set boundaries with the children. The family also lives in the Hamptons in the summertime where the housekeeper/nanny will live-in as well. On occasion, they'll visit throughout the year and would like to bring the housekeeper/nanny with them. This position starts as soon as they find the right fit! All candidates must be comfortable being paid on the books.
