A Manhattan-based family is seeking a long-term, live-out weekend nanny for their two youngest children, aged 10-13. The schedule will be Friday-Sunday, with hours from 2-9 p.m. on Fridays, and 8:30 AM-9 p.m. on weekends, with some flexibility. The ideal candidate is sporty, fun, and responsible, enjoying activities like ice skating, hockey, volleyball, tennis, and lacrosse. Responsibilities include taking the children to sports practices, games, events, and outings, along with light housekeeping, such as tidying up, light meal prep, and weekend household support. Pet care, including walking the dog with the kids and feeding the family's pets (dogs, a cat, and reptiles), is also part of the role.
Travel is required, with live-in arrangements when accompanying the family to Long Island, the Hamptons, or other domestic and international locations. During the summer, the role may involve 4-5 longer days in the Hamptons. The candidate must be able to drive, be a strong swimmer, and have a college degree. CPR certification is required, or the candidate must be willing to obtain it with the family's support. This is a long-term position starting ASAP. Candidates must be comfortable being paid on the books.
