Weekend Nanny for Toddler in NYC Location: New York City (NYC), with some weekends in Bedford and East Hampton Pay Rate: $35-45/hour DOE (Plus excellent benefits) Days: Friday morning through Monday evening Hours: 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. (50+ hours per week) Live-in: Required for the weekend (Friday to Monday) Travel: Must be available to travel and have no commitments during the shift Position Overview: A kind and busy family in NYC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Weekend Nanny to join their household starting in September. This full-time position requires over 50 hours per week, with overtime pay for any hours beyond 40. The nanny will LIVE IN from Friday morning through Monday evening, providing primary care for their 1-year-old. Additionally, the nanny will work alongside another nanny who assists with the family's two older boys on weekends. The ideal candidate will have substantial nanny experience and a genuine love for working with children, particularly toddlers. Previous LIVE IN experience is highly valued. We're looking for someone who is friendly, creative, and energetic, with a talent for organizing engaging activities. The role will call for someone who can confidently drive the children to various activities and appointments and who is comfortable with occasional travel between NYC, Bedford, and East Hampton. Manage the daily routine, including feeding, bathing, and naptime. Engage the child in age-appropriate and stimulating activities. Safely transport the children to activities and appointments as needed. Coordinate with the other nanny to ensure seamless care for the two older boys. Assist with light household tasks related to the children's care. Be flexible and available to travel with the family as required. Qualifications: At least 3 years of full time nanny experience, particularly with infants and toddlers. A strong work ethic and reliability, with a commitment to the weekend schedule. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Willingness to LIVE IN from Friday morning through Monday evening. Flexibility to travel and adapt to different household environments.
