Our very sweet 10yo boy has ADHD with superior IQ (he has difficulties focusing, he's not hyperactive). We're looking for someone with experience with neuroatypical kids, who will pick him up from school, make sure he eats (he's too distracted at school and forgets to eat - this can take a full hour, so a healthy dose of patience and psychology is a must), help him with homework (optional but strongly appreciated). If time allows, some light cooking or running a quick errand would be helpful. The right candidate will need to be resourceful to keep him on track, playful and interested in building things with him. An essential part of the job will be to coordinate with other sitters or parents frequent playdates throughout the week, take him there, or host at our place. Optional skill: know how to teach piano in a fun way.
