Upper East side family seeking a caregiver for our daughter, who is on the autistic spectrum. The role includes a combination of babysitting on Friday and/or Saturday evenings (hourly rate $22) and taking her to classes/activities/restaurants on weekends during the day (hourly rate $32). At our home or in the community, we would expect the caregiver to make sure she is safe at all times and help with daily living activities and basic meal prep as well as helping her learn to become more independent over time. An ideal candidate will be caring, responsible and patient and a non-smoker. Its critical that the caregiver is reachable at all times when with our daughter. Experience with special needs children is required, preferably with autistic children. Must have current CPR and first aid and pass a background check.
