A loving family in Tribeca is seeking a proactive and organized Nanny/Family Assistant to join their household starting in August. This live-out, long-term position requires someone with strong communication skills. The role involves a Monday to Friday schedule from 9/10 a.m. to 7 PM, with occasional late evenings. The primary responsibilities include providing attentive care to a 7-year-old daughter and a 4. 5-year-old son, assisting with homework, preparing meals and snacks, managing daily routines, and organizing playdates. Additionally, the Nanny/Family Assistant will support household tasks such as organizing and buying gifts for events, running errands, preparing dinners for the kids, bathing them, and preparing snacks for them. Since the kids will be in school for most of the day, this person will focus on their family assistant duties while the kids are in school, and when they come home in the afternoon, the duties will be more nanny-focused. Applicants should have strong organizational skills and be able to support school-aged children with their homework. While the ability to drive and swim are pluses, they are not mandatory. Comfort with potential future pets, specifically a dog, is also important. This person must be able to travel both internationally and domestically as needed. The ideal candidate will be proactive, social, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
