About the job
My husband and I have two amazing little boys, ages 2 and 4. The 4-year-old goes to school so the majority of the day will be spent with the 2-year-old, until school is out for the summer. We have a very easygoing family and place a lot of importance on our children's self-directed play. We need someone to keep our boys safe, prepare light meals for them, change diapers, help with going to the bathroom, put them down for naps, read to them, and give them freedom to express their emotions. We use a respectful parenting approach, with some Montessori aspects. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 9-4. We are looking for someone with a car to drop my oldest off at school and pick him, as needed. Housekeeping- dishes (sink and dishwasher); kids' laundry; cleaning play spaces and tidying up after them.
