About the job
We're looking for part-time care for our son while we work from home. He is currently homeschooled in the morning by us. And we'd like to have someone care for him 2-3 hours/day, 5 days/week. Ideally it would be something like 1:30pm-4 p.m. M-F but we're flexible on days and times. About A: he is a loving, curious, energetic 6-year-old. He loves gardening, chess, math, and art. He's really fun to be with -- he's engaged, kind, and a great kid. He also isn't totally neurotypical and is prone to anxiety when he gets stressed. It's something we're working on. But we're looking for someone kind, warm, energetic, firm, and comfortable dealing with some special needs. We have a behavior management system (mostly rewards and positive reinforcement) we will share with you and ask you to stay consistent with.
