About the job
Family needs assistance caring for 2 children. Both are middle schoolers and require help with homework and meaningful activities once homework is completed. My son is 12 and on the autism spectrum but functions well independently. He is able to walk, talk, feed himself and take care of his assigned chores. My daughter is 10 and is considered a "typical" child who will also need help with homework and activities. The ability to help out occasionally with meals is a plus. Some flexibility would be helpful as mom and dad are both employed full time and may need to work late some evenings. An individual with experience working with a child who has autism is also a plus.
