About the job
We are looking for after school care for 2 boys. We have a friendly cat, so not allergy-safe. The job is primarily watching the boys but may include light chores (dishes, folding laundry). The bus drops off at our driveway around 2:25 p.m. We can negotiate on the time, as long as drop off is covered. We have two boys with moderate ADHD. They are very sweet and nerdy (like Mom and Dad) but can rile each other up. The 8-year-old can self-direct and will often hyperfocus on legos or other building toys. He is currently fascinated with the Titanic! The almost-6-year-old needs more help staying off screens. He can fixate on a thing he wants to do (like watch videos) and be difficult to redirect. Taking them outside to put the TV out of sight helps. They both play Minecraft and Nintendo games. They can play cooperatively, but not always!
