About the job
Looking for either a part-time babysitter, or long-term nanny for my 5-year-old son in Delmar, NY. Someone who can escort him off the bus (3:40pm) and stay with him, at least until I get home from work around 6 p.m. (and possibly a little bit more). Will need someone full-time during the upcoming Spring Break, as well as during the summer. He is autistic, language delayed, but learning more all the time, very high functioning, and a lot of fun. He's a Gestalt Language Processor, which means that he learns entire scripts at a time. Preference given to those experienced with such. He is very affectionate and playful, loving to draw and paint, play various musical instruments, sing, dance, tickles, and reading.
