We are looking for a full-time, live-in Personal Assistant/Companion for a truly wonderful client based in beautiful Upstate New York. This is a unique opportunity for someone kind, capable, and thoughtful who enjoys both responsibility and meaningful connection. Private living accommodations are provided in a charming apartment above the garage, ensuring both privacy and comfort. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point person for the household, working closely with the accountant, groundskeeper, attorneys, and other vendors to ensure everything runs smoothly. You'll handle local errands, including grocery shopping and supply orders for the household. If you like to cook, that would be a major bonus! But cooking is not required, only part of this client's ultimate wish list. A housekeeper will provide regular lists to help keep things on track. We're looking for someone active and energetic who can accompany our client on walks or to the gym. A valid New York driver's license is required, as part of the role includes driving to appointments in New York City a few days each month, as well as weekly social visits to Connecticut on weekends. A hotel room will be provided in NYC as needed. The schedule is Friday through Tuesday, with Wednesdays and Thursdays off. Flexibility to travel with the family on occasion is a plus, though not required. The client has one 10-year-old child away at boarding school who comes home on the weekends. We would love to find someone who is active and can go swimming or play basketball with him when he is home. The right candidate will have 5-10 years of full-time experience as a Personal Assistant for high-net-worth individuals. Most importantly, we're looking for someone gentle, kind, and patient-someone who brings warmth and creativity into their work. If you happen to have an artistic streak, even better. There's an on-site art studio that's waiting to be brought to life. Salary range is $00 - $110, 000 plus medical benefits and PTO. Almost all expenses will be paid: car provided, own separate small home and food. Tri-state area residents only, please.
