REQUIREMENTS
Applicants MUST HAVE either:
1.) An Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field OR
2.) A Child Development Associate credential, or, 9 college credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field, with a plan leading to a Child Development Associate credential AND Two years experience related to caring for children PLUS 1 year of specific training and/or experience in infant or toddler care which may be demonstrated by obtaining an Infant ToddlerChild Care credential.
You must also: Be caring, loving and a motivated professional who loves working with children and you must enjoy being engaged with your children every day. Have a clear, detailed understanding and knowledge of the New York State Regulations. Have excellent customer service skills and the ability to bond with children and the parents. MUST work cooperatively with others in a very positive team environment. Must be dependable and punctual. Can visually supervise consistently and account for every child in their care at all times. Have excellent classroom management skills Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment. Maintain a fun and interactive learning environment that challenges the needs of the children in your care on a daily basis. PLEASE only apply if you meet ALL of the above requirements. Positions available: Full time 8-5 and Part Time 12-5.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
Foster effective communication with parents and guardians regarding child development and progress.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and support special education initiatives.
Provide individualized attention to children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and classroom activities.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
