About the job
Hello! :) We are interested in finding long-term after school care with occasional weekend support for our 6-year-old Autistic daughter. Our daughter is non-verbal and still learning to be potty trained, but overall can do a lot. She is dependent on a speech device (iPad) to assist with her communication and often uses it to request snacks and other emotions she's feeling. Her after school schedule is pretty relaxed as she often likes to watch Daniel Tiger on her tablet, request snacks and cuddle. My husband works full-time and I am currently a full time student looking for additional support with our child as I begin graduate school in the future. We are looking for someone to start by September as the new school year approaches. Thank you and looking forward to meeting with you.
