Family Concierge is seeking an experienced, full-time nanny to join a family of four in Williamsville, NY! The nanny will provide loving care for two young children, a 3-year-old boy and a 6-month-old girl. This role is ideal for a proactive and creative individual who enjoys engaging young children in activities that promote growth, development, and active play. The position requires someone who can work 40+ hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional flexibility. If you're safety-conscious, adaptable, and passionate about nurturing children, we would love to hear from you!
About the Position:
This two-physician family is seeking a nurturing and experienced full-time nanny to care for our two young children. The family needs someone reliable, proactive, and flexible to manage their busy weekly schedule and support their needs. The 3-year-old son loves outdoor activities, exploring, and staying active, while the baby girl is beginning to explore her surroundings.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing attentive care and engagement tailored to each child's developmental needs
Creating a safe, stimulating environment with limited screen time
Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children, with knowledge of basic toddler and infant nutrition
Organizing activities that encourage physical, cognitive, and creative growth and align with developmental milestones
Assisting with light household tasks related to childcare, including tidying up play areas, children's laundry, and meal preparation
Ideal Candidate Qualities:
Creative & Educator: Enjoys thinking outside the box, developing engaging activities, and has experience in teaching or tutoring.
Athletic: Leads an active lifestyle and can keep up with an energetic toddler's needs.
Culinary Skills: Knowledgeable about nutrition and enjoys preparing balanced meals.
Adaptable & Safety-Conscious: Able to adjust to new situations and prioritize child safety in all activities. First-aid knowledge is a plus.
Patient & Respectful: Kind, calm, and able to handle toddler behaviors with understanding. Shows respect for our family's values and boundaries.
Additional Information:
Flexibility: The family can provide a detailed schedule in advance, and grandparents visit monthly. If there's a schedule conflict, with one month's notice, they may be able to step in.
Split Role Option: While we prefer one full-time nanny, we are open to considering a split role if necessary to meet all requirements.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in childcare, ideally with infants and toddlers
Background in education, child development, or related fields is a plus
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Fluency in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus
Strong references from previous families
