Brooklyn Heights Family Needs A Full-time Babysitter For Afternoons, Days-off And Sick Days.

We are a professional couple with two daughters (9 and 11) looking to hire a full-time babysitter to support us to navigate the year-ahead. We are looking for a college-educated candidate who is interested in children/education, in need of work and views this as a gap year and a stepping stone position. Required tasks: o Take care of all aspects of the weekday lives of our two girls during the working day, including school pick-ups/drop-offs, meals/snacks and playdates o Keeping track of household schedules, kids' friends, activities and obligations. o Enforce rules and model good behavior. o Engage and pay attention to our kids by reading books, teaching words/colors/numbers/letters, making art, playing games, sports and puzzles. o Pitch in to make sure household is stocked and children's belongings are clean and organized.
