Looking for someone to be part of our family for several years. Current nanny is returning to Nepal. most Federal holidays and 2 weeks holiday when the family travels. Annual bonus 2-year-old toddler and a baby coming in April General - Getting our toddler and baby out and helping build a social circle (going to parks, etc. to connect with other nannies with similar age children, organizing play dates and activities). Toddler has an established social circle. - Flexibility with hours (for example, coming earlier or staying later if requested). If staying late, take-out food will be ordered. - Gentle parenting approach, while still establishing clear boundaries (instead of yelling, talking through feelings and explaining why we don't do something as our child gets older) - Comfortable with parents who work from home a few days per week - Keeping track of toddler/infant supplies (wipes, diapers, medicines etc) and asking parents to reorder - Weekly meal lunch/dinner meal plan and asking parents to buy groceries. Toddler has a few simple recipes they are used too but new recipes are welcome. - Laundry and baby/toddler dishwashing - Organizing toys/room and keeping everything tidy Toddler Responsibilities - Pickup--part-time school is 3 mins away (walking distance) - Serving breakfast (cooked by parents usually) - Lunch/Dinner Meal prep and feeding - Organizing play dates and activities - Ability to potty train Infant responsibilities - Strong focus on development/meeting milestones (introducing solids, sitting up, crawling, walking, talking, potty training, etc.) - Direct communication and sharing insights with us (we want a nanny who will be honest with us if they think we should be doing something differently or have any concerns with our baby, while still being open to our input) - Bottle and baby meal prep, laundry, basic baby-related cleaning
