About the job
We are in Brooklyn Heights/Cobble Hill and are looking for a part-time babysitter for our two girls (5 and 8yo). The ideal candidate has childcare experience, enjoys working with kids, has a sense of humor, is organized, and can consistently support their social, emotional, physical and academic development. Responsibilities include picking them up from school, bringing them to activities around the neighborhood, supervising their homework/piano practice, playing games, going to the library, snacks/meal prep (pescatarian), and helping with bath/bedtime routines as needed. Reliability, promptness and clear communication is essential. We are looking for help 4 days a week (Mon-Thu) from 2:30 to 6:30pm, as well as additional school holidays, date nights, etc. We are looking for someone who can start at the beginning of September and continue
