About the job
Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, while meeting their social, emotional and physical needs. Job duties include: -Creating and following a daily schedule and routine for children, including planning activities and fun/educational projects. -Performing light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning children's living spaces, doing laundry and keeping the kitchen clean after meals. -Helping with meal preparation, feeding, washing and dressing children. -Regularly communicating with parents about children's progress and behavior. -managing medication or first aid as needed, and caring for sick children in the home Nannies Requirements: -at least 24 years of age or older. No applicant younger than 24 years old will be considered. -experience caring for two or more children at a time. -verifiable references -strong communication skills -ability to multitask -a pleasant and patient personality -non smoker
