Start: ASAP Age(s) of Child(ren): 2 children - Newborn and 3-year-old Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 6:30pm Compensation: $30-$35 per hour Description: Full Time Nanny needed in Armonk A loving family of 4 is looking for a full-time nanny for their newborn baby girl and 3-year-old son. This is a great role for someone who cares and nurturing with newborns and puts the safety of the children above all and truly loves working with children. Responsibilities will include caring, feeding, bathing, preparing age-appropriate food for the baby, take the children to park, libraries, playdates, maintain communication with parents about the child's progress and safely transport them as needed. The position starts ASAP. They are looking for someone who is warm, efficient, and can work with them as a team and become a part of their family. Ideal Nanny The ideal nanny candidate would embody a blend of professionalism, warmth, and reliability. They would have a sincere passion for childcare, consistently demonstrating patience, creativity, and enthusiasm in their interactions with children. With a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, they would be well-versed in developmental milestones, capable of planning and facilitating activities that promote learning and growth. Possessing a valid First Aid/CPR certification, the candidate would prioritize safety and be prepared to handle emergencies efficiently. Their references would reflect a history of dependable, compassionate care, and their background check would be clear of any discrepancies. They would be a non-smoker with reliable transportation and a clean driving record, indicative of their dependability. Flexibility is crucial, and the ideal candidate would adapt seamlessly to our changing schedules, showing availability for occasional weekends and a long-term commitment to our family. Position Requirements Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional childcare experience. Certification: Valid First Aid/CPR certification for infants and children. References: Excellent references from previous employers. Background Check: Clear background check. Communication: Strong communication skills in English. Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record (for driving positions). Age Group Experience: Experience with newborns and toddlers. Activity Planning: Ability to plan and engage in developmentally appropriate activities. Housekeeping: Willingness to perform light housekeeping related to the children. Non-Smoker: Must be a non-smoker. Transportation: Reliable transportation. Flexibility: Flexibility with hours and availability for occasional weekends. Commitment: Ability to commit long term.
