About the job
We're looking for a responsible, caring nanny to provide ongoing care for our 9-month-old and occasional supervision for our independent 9-year-old. The ideal candidate has infant experience, a nurturing personality, and a proactive approach to tidiness. My wife is also 6 months pregnant with another baby boy! Responsibilities include providing attentive care for our 9-month-old, including feeding, diaper changes, playtime, and naps; supervising our 9-year-old as needed; keeping play areas, the kitchen, and common spaces tidy after activities; washing and sterilizing baby bottles; putting away baby's clothes and assisting with light baby laundry; and following our family's routines and parenting style. Requirements include experience with infants and young kids; CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain); reliability, punctuality, and trustworthiness; comfort with light housekeeping; and being a non-smoker.
