I'm a solo mom to G (girl, 13) and D (non-binary, 9), and I'm also a graduate student. I have class two evenings a week and see clients a third evening, and I'd like my kids to have a responsible driving adult with them to structure the afternoon/evening hours, drive them to activities, and prepare dinner (one child is vegetarian, the other likes "kid food"). I'll pay extra for someone also comfortable taking on some household management responsibilities, including basic laundry, light housekeeping, food shopping, helping with the dog, etc.
