A warm and welcoming family in Short Hills, NJ, is seeking a polished and college-educated Full-Time Nanny/Family Assistant to support their household and care for their two daughters, ages 6 and 4. This is a long-term position with a family that values professionalism and fosters a positive working environment. Schedule: Monday-Thursday, or Monday-Friday: 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. (option for live-in or live-out) One late night per week (until approximately 9:30 PM) Start date: ASAP Responsibilities: Morning routine: Prepare breakfast, help the girls get ready for school, and pack lunches. After-school care: Homework help, reading, and engaging activities to support learning and development. Manage daily schedules: Ensure the girls are ready for sports and activities, and assist with scheduling. Household tasks: Light housekeeping related to the children (laundry, tidying their rooms). Grocery runs and errands. They have a housekeeper, so no deep cleaning is required. Dinner preparation for the girls (no allergies, eat a variety of foods). Communication: Coordinate with the family, stay aware of schedules (family shares calendar invites). Ideal Candidate: College-educated (educational background required). Patient, polished, and able to reason and communicate effectively with children. Flexible and reliable, especially given the father's unpredictable work schedule. The mother's work schedule is basically the same every day. Organized and proactive. Comfortable driving (required) for school pickups, lessons, and activities. Additional Details: Live-in accommodations: Private bedroom and ensuite bathroom, a full kitchen, and a private entrance. Summer schedule: Girls attend full-time camp with bus transportation for pickup/drop-off. Schedule will remain the same. No travel required. No pets in the household.
