During school hours, care will be for the newborn only. After school, Nanny will care for both unless the 3-year-old's babysitter is there. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm, with flexibility for occasional later hours. Overnight care will likely be needed once or twice per month. Duties: Assisting with tasks related to the newborn such as feeding, managing the nap schedule, and diapering him. Cleaning bottles and dishes, preparing meals for the children, doing their laundry, vacuuming, and tidying up after them. Occasionally helping the toddler get ready for school. Restocking diapers and wipes, assisting with diaper pail, and ensuring play and living areas are kept clean. Engaging the children through developmentally appropriate activities. NO driving is necessary, but the family prefers Nanny to have her own car. Ideal nanny: The ideal nanny for this family has experience with infants and is understanding. They are energetic and flexible. Looking for someone independent who will prioritize building a relationship with the children through engaging them, talking to them, and playing with them. The ideal nanny is proactive, communicative, and will work as a team with Mom and Dad while respecting their wishes and boundaries. Willingness to travel with the family is a bonus.
