A warm and adaptable family in Summit, NJ, is seeking a proactive and reliable Nanny/Household Manager to join their home on a long-term basis starting ASAP. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, a calm and easygoing personality, and a passion for organization and teamwork. Position Details: Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. - 6 PM, with flexibility for occasional late nights. Location: Summit, NJ (live-out position). Compensation: This family pays on the books, and will pay for overtime. Responsibilities: Childcare: Care for three children: 6-year-old twins (boy and girl) and a 4-year-old boy. They also have a 16-month-old daughter, but this position will primarily be for the older children as she will have her own nanny. However, the two nannies should work as a team when needed. Provide engaging activities, morning routines, and after-school care. Household Management: Assist with organizational tasks and day-to-day household management. Help with two properties the family is getting set up. Light housekeeping as needed (housekeepers handle daily cleaning). Very basic and occasional pet care for two dogs (a small dog and a French Mastiff) if the family isn't around. They do have other staff who will be around to help let the dogs out. Travel Support: Available for occasional domestic and international travel. Cooking: Assist in the kitchen when necessary, focusing on simple meals for the kids, though this is not required. Requirements: Valid driver's license and ability to drive when needed. The family will provide a car for the nanny during work hours. Confident swimmer. Comfortable with light pet care and teamwork in a busy household, the family has two housekeepers, and will have another nanny for their youngest. Flexible, with a strong sense of when to step in and when to step back. Prior experience as a nanny or household manager is preferred.
