Our family is committed to finding the right candidate to join our team and seamlessly support our children's afternoon needs. We are seeking an experienced, highly capable afternoon nanny to work in tandem with our full-time, live-in nanny. The primary responsibilities for this crucial role will be safe and reliable transportation, activity/enrichment support, and light housekeeping duties during the afternoon hours. This "divide and conquer" approach will allow our family to effectively manage the children's busy schedules and ensure their needs are met throughout the day. Compensation and Benefits: Starting Salary: $23.00 per hour Opportunity for annual merit-based pay increases Generous paid time off and sick leave Health insurance stipend to offset the cost of your coverage * Schedule: Primary work hours: 12:45 PM - 6:45 PM, Monday through Friday Responsible for school pickups, transportation to activities/sports, and afternoon childcare Flexibility to accommodate changes in the family's schedule as needed Our full-time nanny handles the morning and early afternoon childcare responsibilities Responsibilities: Provide safe, reliable, and attentive transportation for the children to and from school, extracurricular activities, sports practices/games, and any other appointments Ensure the children's safety, well-being, and active engagement during all transportation and activity time Collaborate closely with the full-time nanny to maintain a consistent, structured daily routine for the children Assist with light housekeeping duties in the children's spaces, such as tidying up, laundry, and light meal preparation Communicate regularly with the family and nanny to provide updates, address any concerns, and work as a cohesive team Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and sound judgment to accommodate changes in the family's schedule or needs Qualifications: Valid driver's license and clean driving record with no major infractions Minimum 3 years of direct experience in childcare, transportation coordination, and activity/enrichment support Ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and make thoughtful decisions that prioritize the children's best interests Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the family and nanny Patient, empathetic, and genuinely invested in supporting the overall wellbeing and development of children Current CPR and first aid certification strongly preferred Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and reference verification process
