About the job
Looking for someone who can step in to help out with our two kids, ages 4 & 7 after school. It would require picking the kids up at the their respective schools in our car, bringing them home, or driving them to their after school activities, help preparing snacks, providing activities/playing with them, helping prepare their dinner, and getting them ready for bed including assistance with baths. I (their mom) would be home but broke my leg so I would be here to answer any questions, but would be out of the way most of the time. Their dad would be able to help with all of the above on certain days as well. Willing to pay competitively for the right person. Thank you! Our family loves to enjoy the simple things: being outside whenever possible, art, music, games. The kids love to build anything - forts, puzzles, magna-tiles. They both love to be outside so we try to do that whenever the weather allows. E loves basketball, biking and skiing. J love taekwondo and football. The kids benefit from guided activities but we also love to just have them free play at home. E has minimal homework that she can usually do on her own but sometimes needs help remembering to do it. They do need help getting ready for bed (baths/showers, PJs, brushing teeth, etc.) We're looking for someone who is confident enough to step in and keep the kids on track, but also warm and easy-going enough to fit in to our home environment. There is parking at the house. There is a bus that runs to town but our preference would be someone who can drive to the house. No pets for now.
