After-School Childcare & Dog Walking Position - Part Time - Morris Plains, NJ

Seeking a responsible, reliable and energetic caregiver to provide after-school care for an 8-year-old child and walk our family dog. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing environment while managing both childcare and pet care responsibilities. Childcare Duties: Pickup from bus stop, assist with homework and and healthy after-school snacks, supervise indoor / outdoor play activities, monitor screen time and encourage creative activities, chaperone to after school activities as per schedule, communicate with parents about updates and concerns. Dog Walking Duties: Take dog for scheduled walk, ensure proper leash handling and safety protocols, clean up after dog during walks and ensure proper waste disposal. Ideally should have strong references and be an experienced childcare provider and dog handler, and good driving history.
