About the job
Our daughter has high functioning ASD, ADHD, Anxiety, and Sensory Processing Disorder. She requires patience and help with regulation, her triggers are loud noises or textures that seem to overwhelm her for example wet things upsets her. Currently she is in Pre-K, a typical day when she comes home could be anywhere from setting her up in her blackout tent with some snacks and drinks to watch a movie or tv show on her tablet. Other times when she gets home she likes to immerse herself in character play so we join in and make her feel like she's living out the characters life. Sometimes we have her do crafts or coloring with music , and weather permitting we take her to the park or walks to get some fresh air.
