Main job for this position is to assist the teaching staff with classroom duties. Provide a safe and loving environment for the children to learn in. Cleaning responsibilities throughout the day and at the end of the day. Assist with children's handwashing, changing of shoes, setting up of lunches/cots... Interaction during free choice time. Engaging with the children during their play and giving them increased vocabulary. Supporting the learning of language, math, science knowledge and skills. Communicating with the lead teacher as to desired activities for the day upon arrival... Playground supervision. Communication with administrative staff daily.
