A wonderful bicoastal family is seeking an experienced and nurturing nanny for their adorable 2. 5-year-old daughter. The family resides in Jersey City, NJ, but spends three months per year in Las Vegas, so you must be able to travel with them, private living quarters are provided while traveling. Duties: Implement Montessori-inspired learning and play-based activities to encourage independence Engage in outdoor play, weather permitting Foster language development, creativity, and social skills Organize the child's belongings, including putting away clothes and tidying up Assist with meal prep for the child Maintain a nurturing and structured environment that promotes curiosity and confidence Family Assistant duties while the child naps, including: Light housekeeping (tidying up, dishes, laundry) Running errands as needed Location: Jersey City, NJ & Las Vegas, NV Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. with the flexibility to stay later, come earlier, and/or come on a weekend with advance notice Compensation: $30-$40/hr (based on experience) Qualifications: 10+ years of experience as a nanny or in early childhood education Strong background in Montessori teaching, play-based learning, or formal education Ability to encourage independence and support the child's developmental milestones Comfortable traveling between Jersey City and Las Vegas with the family Proactive, organized, and willing to assist with household tasks The ideal nanny is an easygoing, down-to-earth, confident, and collaborative nanny, who is beyond dedicated and passionate about working with young children.
