About the job
Searching for a caregiver for a sweet and vivacious 14-year-old girl with intellectual and speech disabilities for afternoons and evenings, Mon-Thurs 3:30-7pm, Fri 1:30-6 p.m. Some additional hours are possible on evenings and weekends. Must have a car and a good driving record for after-school activities. Must be comfortable with light meal prep and self-care tasks. She is a loving and exuberant girl. We are looking for someone energetic to play with her and learn her personality. Patience and gentle authority are important as well. She loves to play with her dolls. Experience with neurodivergent children and/or disabled children preferred. This would be a particularly good experience for those pursuing special education studies or therapeutic and clinical careers for kids with disabilities. Thank you!
