A warm and active family in Bernardsville, NJ, is seeking an experienced and energetic nanny to care for their two sons, ages 20 months and 3 weeks (who will be about 2 months old when the nanny starts), starting in the new year. This live-out, long-term position is ideal for a nanny who is passionate about early childhood development and is eager to assist in raising two young boys in a structured and loving environment. Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Responsibilities: Provide attentive and nurturing care for both children, supporting their developmental milestones. Safely drive the children as needed, using the family-provided nanny car. Prepare and engage the toddler with educational activities, including learning games and reading. Assist with basic household tasks, such as tidying up, managing the children's belongings, and maintaining an organized home. Collaborate with parents on grocery shopping (or provide a list if preferred). Let the family's two dogs outside regularly (one dog is large and 2 years old, the other is a small 14-year-old dog). Liaise with repairmen or service providers when they visit the home. Join the family for travel, including occasional international trips, a week in Florida over Christmas, and two weeks in Nantucket during the summer. Light cooking for the kids. Requirements: Must be a safe and responsible driver. Tech-savvy enough to navigate learning tablets. Energetic and organized, with the ability to manage both infant and toddler care effectively. Available for occasional overnights when both parents are traveling. Additional Details: Swimming is not required now but will eventually be a plus as the family plans to install a pool. The family will have a NCS who is there 24/7 for their newborn until the end of February, so the nanny will not be caring directly for their youngest until then. The mother is in the office 4 days per week, and the father works outside of the home as well. It's a huge plus if this nanny speaks Spanish, but not required.
