Seeking A Special Needs Companion For A Down Syndrome Young Lady In Newport. Looking for a part-time companion for my daughter with Down Syndrome in Newport. Hours and days are flexible but would be in the afternoons beginning with a couple days per week for 2-3 hours per day.... sometimes more. My daughter functions at about a 5th grade level. She's quiet, reserved, gentle and sweet. She likes doing crafts, going for walks or to the gym, listening to music, dancing, baking, trips to the beach, shopping, going on car rides and more.
