Childcare Providers For Nursery At First Unitarian Church

The Lead Childcare Provider supervises children (ages infant- 4), provides direct care, as needed, and works with one or more additional childcare providers or volunteers in the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Exeter (FUUSE) infant and early childhood classroom for Sunday services and, as mutually agreed upon for other FUUSE events. The Lead Childcare Provider is responsible for the following: Overseeing the work of the other childcare providers or volunteers while children are present Ensuring safety policies and procedures are being followed by all childcare providers and volunteers while children are present Reporting concerns to the Director of Religious Education Communicating with the child's caregivers, including in the event of an accident report The Childcare Provider is an hourly position that reports to the Director of Religious Education who provides supervision and evaluation. Hourly rate of $16/hr. Qualifications Required Relevant childcare experience caring for mixed-age groups that include infants and young children. Experience communicating with caregivers, including reporting accidents and facility expectations. At least 18 years of age. Preferred Early Childhood Education certification First aid and infant CPR certification or other formal safety training The Childcare Provider (assistant) supervises children (infant-age 4) provides direct care, as needed, in the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Exeter (FUUSE) infant and early childhood classroom during Sunday Service, and as mutually agreed upon, for other FUUSE events. The Childcare Provider (assistant) is an hourly position that reports to the Director of Religious Education who provides supervision and evaluation. Hourly rate of $14/hr. Qualifications Required Relevant childcare experience caring for mixed-age groups that include infants and young children. Experience communicating with caregivers, including reporting accidents and facility expectations. Preferred Early Childhood Education certification First aid and infant CPR certification or other formal safety training At least 16 years old
