About the job
My daughters are 23 and 26, mildly autistic, and capable of all personal care functions (bathing, eating, dressing etc). I need a helper who is ideally 26-39, female (and has some experience with autistic kids) who can help with rides to jobs and activities, meal prep, grocery shopping, and cooking. Ideal hours are 5-9 p.m. So the typical day would be meal prep and cooking at 5, watch a movie or show until 9. In essence, be a friend to my girls---they love hanging out, and trips to local stores from time to time. Moms of young kids, ladies with complicated love lives, or anyone with a complicated day job probably not the best fit. One of my girls is an equestrian, the other artsy. $20/hr to start, but should rise steadily to $25 if there is a great fit.
