About the job
My daughters are 23 and 26, mildly autistic, and capable of all personal care functions (bathing, eating, dressing etc). I need a caretaker who is ideally 26-40, female (and has some experience with autistic kids) who can help with rides to jobs and activities, meal prep, grocery shopping, and cooking. Some light housekeeping/coaching would also be great. Ideal hours are 12-8 p.m. I am assembling a team of caregivers, so no one person will be on 7 days per week, but that is the coverage I need, overall. So the typical day would be pick up my daughter at work, assist in meal prep and cooking at 5, watch a movie or show until 8. In essence, be a friend to my girls---they love hanging out. Moms of young kids, or ladies with complicated love lives probably not the best fit. One of my girls is an equestrian, the other artsy. Salary negotiable.
