With 4 siblings in the mix, there is lots of excitement and love to go around. They are looking for an extraordinary caregiver to join their team starting as soon as possible. The kiddos range in age and personality, so you will get the best of all the ages and stages! They have a 7.5-year-old, 5-year-old, 3.5-year-old, and an almost 2-year-old. With experience having multiple nannies over the years, the best caregivers were empathetic, positive, and motivated. They highly value a caregiver who is passionate about working with children, has a good understanding of how to engage all developmental levels, and is able to implement positive-behavior strategies for all ages. Their ideal nanny is structured and able to implement a daily routine for the kids to promote a comfortable environment and predictability. It is important that the kids are encouraged to keep their areas clean and complete daily chores. They have found a rewards system helpful in encouraging them to work towards those goals. Someone with a Montessori-type approach and model would be a great fit! Primary care will be for their 3 youngest. Your typical day will start by getting the kids fed and ready for their day. Nanny will have the freedom to plan the day accordingly with games, crafts, educational activities, and outings to the park, library, and museums. A family vehicle will be provided for all child transportation. Mom works from home, so a caregiver who is comfortable with this dynamic is a must. However, she will not impede on your day and will default children to the nanny during work hours. The schedule for this position will be Monday- Friday from 8:45 AM- 5:15 PM, with some variation to an early end time on Wednesdays and Fridays. One week they will only need the nanny until 2:45 PM on Wednesday and the next week coverage will only be until 2:45 PM on Friday. This schedule totals out to 40 hours per week. They would appreciate a nanny who has some flexibility to adjust the schedule occasionally if needed. They are looking for a long-term fit and look forward to meeting you!
