A Wake Forest family of 3 is looking for a fun-loving, kind, and laid-back nanny to assist with their infant daughter beginning as soon as possible. They are first-time parents and these last 7 months have flown by in the blink of an eye. They have loved watching their daughter flourish through her young infant years, but with having to get back into the routine of working-life, they are in need of an extra set of hands! She will be 8 months old by the time their nanny will join, and they are hoping for a nanny who is confident, well-versed in early childhood development, and able to help their little one thrive well into her toddler years. As they are completely new to having a nanny, they are looking for someone who is collaborative, respectful, and can put them at ease while they get acclimated to having someone new around their daughter and in their home.
Your day will consist of lots of play time, reading, naps, feedings, and diaper changes. Someone who is communicative, safety- conscious, and attentive is essential for this role. As their daughter is getting older, they would appreciate a nanny who enjoys planning and implementing age-appropriate activities to engage her while she grows through her milestones. When trust and comfort is established, Mom and Dad are okay with the nanny eventually taking their daughter on trips to the park and library. Nanny will be responsible for cleaning up any spaces used throughout the day, as well as cleaning items pertaining to the care of their little one. No other household tasks will be asked of you. Both parents work from home, so someone who is comfortable with this dynamic is important. When they aren't working, the family loves enjoying the outdoors, watching hockey, and spending time with friends and family. The family also has a sweet dog, so the nanny must be comfortable with having him around the home.
The schedule for this role is Monday- Thursday from 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM and Fridays from 9:00 AM- 1:00 PM. They have no plans to put their daughter into daycare for the foreseeable future, so they are hoping for a nanny who is open to staying with them long-term.
