Are you a seasoned professional who enjoys all ages and stages? If the idea of engaging with a busy toddler while also supporting two older children with homeschooling sounds like a dream, look no further! This busy family lives East of Raleigh and is looking for an amazing nanny who will feel at home and become a part of their family. They have three children, a 7-year-old boy who likes Pokemon, a 5-year-old daughter who loves imaginative play, and an 19-month-old boy who adores tractors and being outside. The parents both work from home full-time and Mom owns her own business which can be incredibly demanding. Because of this, they are seeking a proactive nanny who would value the opportunity to support the family as a whole. The oldest two are homeschooled and mom has organized lesson plans prepared in advance, she will kick off the day by homeschooling the older two while the nanny spends time engaging with the youngest. When mom begins her work, the nanny will take over and follow through on finishing up their schooling. This does not require a teaching background as everything is clearly laid out and often the nanny will simply be overseeing that the tasks are completed for the day. Their ideal caregiver would be warm, patient, and creative. The goal would be that outside of the more structured school work, the nanny would help foster a love for learning through supplemental arts and crafts, science projects, and exploring the world around them. They are a Christian family that would value a nanny who is supportive and aligns with creating opportunities to explore their faith on a deeper level. Aside from caring for the children, the family would greatly appreciate help with preparing meals for the children, laundry, running occasional errands, and light household duties such as tidying and organizing things. The family has a vehicle the nanny is welcome to use for transporting the children to any activities. The typical work hours will include Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-4:30 PM. They would greatly appreciate some flexibility with the end time occasionally up to 6 PM. They are looking for a long-term fit as they may grow their family in the future and foresee homeschooling their children for many years to come.
