About the job
I'm looking for a mother's helper to take care of my 3-year-old daughter for a few hours, three days a week. I will be starting an online masters program in January 2025, and so the main responsibilities of this job will be playing with my daughter and looking after her while I'm doing coursework online; I will be home the entire time but not available to take care of my daughter. Specifically, this job will involve: playing indoors and/or outside; supervising my daughter while she eats a snack; changing her clothes if they get wet/sandy/muddy after playing outside; helping her with potty training. I'm looking for someone who is a non-smoker/non-vaper and who has their own transportation. Knowledge of or familiarity with theories of child-led play will be highly valued. Final candidates will be asked to provide two references.
