About the job
Hello! Are you the right person to join our son's care team? Our sweet 12-year-old had a brain injury at 4. He's g-tube fed (I can train you!), takes some food by mouth, has to be lifted to be moved (70ish lbs). We're looking for a kind-hearted, compassionate, thoughtful caregiver to spend time with him. He's the oldest of three and sometimes our house is chaos and sometimes it's quiet. Often he enjoys being in the mix of noise and activities, and other times he is content being taken on a walk or sitting in his bean bag. We have another caregiver already, so this position would be part time and can be very flexible. I am currently looking for someone to work Thursdays and Fridays this summer and then a couple of afternoons each week during the school year. Must be a nonsmoker, CPR certified and have reliable transportation.
