My husband and I would like to be able to go out on occasion and feel that our kids will be safe with a responsible adult at home. We have a 13yr old that is independent, but that we didn't want to make responsible for her 7yr old brother. We do have dogs, but do not expect a sitter to do anything for them and can have them in a separate area, if that would make them more comfortable.
