With both parents maintaining demanding careers, Mom as a hospitalist with varying shifts and Dad working from home with frequent travel, the family requires a nanny who is adaptable, reliable, and comfortable with a fluid schedule. The schedule includes about 14-16 shifts per month, although varied in days and times which can be provided in advance. Because Dad's work travel is often last-minute, they need a flexible nanny who is willing to stay late on those occasions (if they overlap with Mom's late shifts). This role is largely focused on providing a safe, attentive, and loving environment for their infant, but the family will also appreciate help with caring for the dog, laundry for the baby, and light meal prep.
