Do you adore baby snuggles and spending time outdoors? If so, a Durham family of four hopes to meet you soon! Their youngest will be 8 months old at the start of the position in May. He is hitting all of his milestones and loves to be active during his wake windows. Their oldest is 4 years old and attends school full-time. However, if she happens to be out for a workday or sick day, the family would love it if she could be incorporated into your day. A nanny who is confident in their ability to plan age-appropriate activities to encourage development, is active and also engaging would be the best fit for this family! They are a screen-free family and would appreciate that being carried over by their nanny. They live close to a park and would love it if their son could get out and about regularly. As time progresses, the family may be open to outings to local child-friendly places using the car. Outside of childcare, the family would appreciate assistance with keeping the child's room and areas used tidy and preparing food throughout the day. A typical work schedule will be Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5:30 p.m. with slight flexibility. A nanny should expect 40 consistent hours per week. Dad works outside of the home and Mom works from home. A nanny who is comfortable and confident with this dynamic is imperative. They have 3 cats in the home, so a love for 4-legged friends is ideal. The family hopes to welcome a nanny to their home for approximately 4 months until their son transitions to daycare at the end of August. What they can offer their nanny: The opportunity to be active with a sweet baby boy Paid lunch break where you are welcome to run an errand or grab takeout if you'd like Paid Holidays, Consistent Hours Their ideal nanny is/has: 3-5 years of childcare experience Infant experience required CPR/First Aid Certified Fully vaccinated for flu and covid (prefer booster) Clean driving record Comfortable with cats Excellent references Be engaging, flexible, and detail-oriented
