If you are a calm, kind, and engaging nanny who loves the infant and toddler stages, we have the perfect position for you! A family of 4 in Clayton are excited to welcome another trusted adult to into their lives soon. Their former nanny became family and they hated to see her move out of state recently but completely support her decision. Their oldest is almost 3 and gearing up for starting pre-k in August. She loves working on activities and playing while at home. The youngest is 5 months old and is meeting all of her milestones so far. The family values trust, kindness, conscientiousness, and relationships built on mutual respect and openness and they hope to find a nanny who has similar values. A typical day will include lots of interactive playtime, spending time outdoors, reading, singing, and implementing various activities. A nanny who is experienced working with an infant-toddler sibling dynamic, and is comfortable working with both ages at the same time, would be the best fit. The parents would appreciate assistance with child laundry, loading/unloading the dishwasher, making meals for the children, and ensuring that all areas are cleaned up afterward. The family keeps a fairly tidy home and hopes to find a caregiver who will support them with this. If there is time while the children are napping, it would be a bonus if the nanny is open to cutting up vegetables or doing very light meal prep for dinner. The typical schedule will be Monday-Friday 9 a.m. -2 p.m. Both parents work from home, and they have dedicated office spaces but they may like to pop in to say "Hi!" throughout the day. However, they have no plans to interfere with daily activities. They also have a friendly older dog, who will be around throughout the day.
