This will be our first child, expected by April 1 2025, and my wife wishes to ideally start back to work by the end of June 2025. I work nights 7 days on and 14 days off, so I will be around to help most of the time. We would like to start with overnight care for someone to take care of our child in the middle of the night so that my wife (or I during my work weeks) can sleep through the night without being woken up. Once the baby is sleeping through the night or is 6 months old (whichever is latter), we would like to switch to day time care from then- onwards during my work weeks only (for now). We have an older dog that requires some interaction outside of the home to get her familiar with you, but after she is comfortable, there should be no problems.
