We are seeking part-time (alternating weeks) nanny and companionship care in Charlotte for an adult with Down syndrome. Our loved one loves spending time with people, listening to music, watching movies, swinging at the park, and swimming. She s non-verbal and communicates through sign language, gestures, and limited words. Duties include: providing companionship, social interactions, and enriching community experiences transportation to and from day program on the days she attends (we ask that you handle transportation) assistance with medication handling groceries and errands when appropriate help preparing meals light tidying up and housecleaning providing care when our loved one is sick and cannot go to her day program Compensation: Competitive hourly wages, mileage, Sick Time, Holiday Pay, guaranteed weekly hours
