This position offers flexible morning hours and the option for one evening per week. The family is looking for someone who is experienced, engaging, and ready to become a valued part of their parenting journey. About the Family: This is a first-time parent household that values kindness, patience, love, and meaningful engagement with each other and their child. Schedule 2-3 mornings per week, preferably Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but the family is flexible Hours between 7:00/8:00 AM - 12:00 PM An optional evening each week for a date night, typically starting around 7:00 PM About the Child This sweet and curious baby boy is 5 months old, alert, and loves tummy time, storytime, and singing. He's working on sitting upright independently and is gradually learning to fall asleep on his own in his crib. He sleeps 5-6 hour stretches at night and takes several short naps during the day. He is primarily bottle-fed (about 90%) with some breastfeeding. He enjoys engaging interactions, mimicking sounds, and thrives on attention and care. While generally smiley and calm, he occasionally needs soothing and likes to be carried or walked around during those moments. Nanny Responsibilities Preparing and feeding bottles Light housekeeping related to the baby (diaper changes, baby laundry, tidying up play/feeding areas) Engaging activities like reading, singing, and tummy time Supervising during naps Supporting developmental milestones Creating a safe, nurturing environment Requirements 3-5 years of experience with infants Up-to-date on COVID-19 vaccinations (including boosters), flu shot, and general childhood vaccinations Comfortable with two cats in the home Strong communication skills and the ability to problem-solve independently Warm, patient, and attentive to a young infant's needs Bonus: Speaks a second language (not required, but appreciated!)
